Frogbit

Frogbit Hydrocharis morsus-ranae

Norfolk, 7 August

Native. Like many aquatics, Frogbit produces rather delicate white flowers in mid-summer. Its strongholds in Britain are traditionally 'wet' areas - the Somerset Levels, the Shropshire and Cheshire plains, the Sussex grazing marshes, the Norfolk Broads and, formerly, the Fens.
